Ya-Ya-yahのサウンド / The Ya-Ya-yah sound
Follow @YmstShoonFlock Ya-Ya-yahはユニットとして、綺麗で特徴的なサウンドを持った。彼らはそれまで歌わなかった曲を歌っても、自分は聴きながら目を閉じても、まだYa-Ya-yahのサウンドを見分けることができるでしょうね。そして、薮＆光の特異な声と翔央＆太陽低音域の声の調子がよく整ったこの曲は良い例です。 As a group Ya-Ya-yah had a very distinctive sound. Even if it were a song they hadn't sung before, even if you closed your eyes, you'd still know it was them. Also, Yabu&Hikaru's singular voices & Shoon&Taiyo's deeper voices made a beautiful harmony. (2007.06.10 Shokura 「ありがとう」/ "Arigatô" ) 「Good News」はYa-Ya-yahの曲じゃなかったけど、Ya-Ya-yahのユニークなサウンドのその他良い例です。太陽くんと翔央くんが曲の中頃に参加する時（01：04頃）、4人の声は凄く綺麗なサウンドになってと思う。自分がこれをmp3ファイルに変換した。聴くと、いつも元気が出る。/ "Good news" is another good example of the unique sound Ya-Ya-yah had as a group. Wait for minute 01:04; when their four voices come together, it's just beautiful. I converted this into an mp3 file, and it always cheers me up when I listen to this song. 翔央くんのズボンが脱げそうになった時 / The time Shoon almost lost his pants
Follow @YmstShoonFlock 2007年2月11日少クラ回のJr.にQのテーマは「秘密を告白」だった。彼のカードに翔央くんが「少クラでズボンがぬげたぁ〜」と書いた。その不意のハプニングが起こったのはいつだったか、思い出せますか？ / In the Jr. ni Q segment of the 2007.02.11 SC episode, the theme was: "Confess a secret". On his card, Shoon wrote: "My pants slipped during the show!". Remember when that unexpected incident happened? ↓↓↓ 2003年11月12日の少クラ回に「ジュークボックス」メドレーの始めにだった。「勇気100％」の音楽が流れ始めた時、翔央くんと赤間くんはアクロバットをした。バク転しながら、翔央くんはズボンが脱げているのに気付いた。 素晴らしい運動神経のお陰で、両膝をついてしまう前に、ズボンを上げられた。すごいね！😮 / It was in the 2003.11.12 episode, at the very beginning of the "Jukebox" medley. When the music of "Yuuki 100%" started, Shoon and Akama did some acrobatics, and when they were backflipping Shoon noticed that his pants were slipping down. His reflexes were amazing, because in mid flip he managed to pull up his pants before landing on his knees! 😮
2008.05.20「フルハウス」のリレーメール (#1 - 山下翔央) / "Full House" relay-mail (#1 - Shoon)
Follow @YmstShoonFlock 翔央くんは舞台「フルハウス」で演じた時、キャスト・メンバー4人（町田慎吾・風間俊介・米花剛史・翔央くん）はJFCのサイトにリレーメールを投稿した。彼らのメッセージは凄く可笑しかった。最初に投稿したのは翔央くんだった： When Shoon landed a role in the stage play "Full House" with Shingo Machida, Shunsuke Kazama and Tsuyoshi Yonehana, the four of them did a "relay mail" on the JFC site. Their messages were really funny. The first to post was Shoon. (I added a loose translation at the end of the text.) こんにちは 山下翔央です 突然ですが今日から舞台フルハウスのメンバー四人でリレーメールをする事になりました 遂に始まりましたが毎日勉強の日々です 皆で少しずつアドリブを入れてみたりしてるので本番中笑っちゃいそうになる事もありますが楽しくやっています では、今回は町田くんにメッセージを送ります 三人の中で一番イメージと違ってとっても面白い人で、楽屋に入って来てクネクネっと踊ってそのまま出ていく・・・ 踊りに来たのかな？ なんて事もあり、町田くんが踊ってない日を見たことがありません 笑っ そんな中 教えてもらったステップ 結構練習してるんですよ～ 町田くんが見てるときを見計らってさりげなくやってるわけじゃないですよ～笑っ 町田くんみたいに踊れるようになりたいなぁ～ また新しいステップ教えて下さいね そして やっぱりケムマキの役は、やっぱり町田くんしかできないです 町田くんくらい変わっ・・・ 面白い人じゃないと無理です 毎回少しずつギャグや言い回しを変えていて やっぱりさすがだな って思いますm(__)m 毎日アドリブ楽しみにしてます PS: 楽屋に挨拶しに来てくれた人を 「俺の兄ちゃんだから 」って変な嘘をつかない...

"Our plans for the autumn" (translation below the scans) In 2003 the 5-members Ya-Ya-yah was featured for several months in a magazine called Shougaku Rokunensei, which, as the name implies, was aimed at elementary schoolers. Below you'll find a loose translation I made of the article, which has all the innocence of childhood. I'm not fluent in Japanese, so corrections are most welcome. [speech ballons] Shoon : Why am I the only one with a rose? It's not that I have a problem with it, but... *laughs* (translator's note: You were given a rose as a prop because you were too cute, that's why. 😉🌹) Yabu : Autumn arts.
